The British 1956 Aston Martin DBR1 has sold for an all-time record-breaking $22.5 million at the annual Monterrey Car Week auction. The classic vintage racer vehicle has been described as the most important Aston Martin ever made. It was raced by Sir Stirling Moss and as such was archived as one of Britain's most valuable car.
According to an online press release, the DBR1 was one of the several vintage vehicles unveiled at the annual auction event, including a 1959 DB4GT, which sold for an impressive $6.765 million, and a 2006 DBR9, which went for a cool $616,000.
