Mobile tech guru and leak expert Evan Blass shared on his twitter page what could be best described as the perfect leaked image of the new Samsung Galaxy S8 handset.

The S8 is rumored to launch in two models - the 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch models.

According to an article by the Guardian and VentureBeat, the new smartphone will not have the regular physical navigation buttons which have been Samsung's signature since it began producing their range of smartphones.

Also, there seems to be a bigger device this time as the S8 is rumored to have a bigger screen than the previous Galaxy Note devices. Mmm... Sounds cool!

Samsung has just found a way of marrying two different chipset into their phones, abs this time they are incorporating Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 chipset and Samsung's own Exynos chipset into the Galaxy S8. That promises a lot of power! Specifics have it that the new device would be 11 percent faster than the Galaxy S7 with a 23 percent graphics processing upgrade. Overall, it indicates a 20 percent more efficiency.

The two models will have 5.8- and 6.2-inch QHD Super AMOLED screens respectively.

The screens will cover 83% of the smartphone's  front panels which makes their aspect ratio - 18.5:9 - slightly different from the industry standard 16:9. Both models will sport Samsung's "edge" display, which curves on both sides of the phone.

Battery-wise, a sizeable 3000mAh and 3500mAh are expected for the two devices (the 5.8 inch and 6.2 inch variant models respectively). Well, that's quite disappointing for a large screen device since power consumption would be really great due to the large screens on both devices.

Whoops! A 64GB internal storage is guaranteed with a meagre 4GB RAM - also disappointing for a 2017 mobile when older devices like the OnePlus 3 rocks a 6GB RAM.

USB type C port at the bottom (which seems to be standard these days) would be used for charging with a 3.5mm headphone jack. Yeah!!

Fingerprint sensor is now located at the rear of the S8 close to a 12 megapixels camera standard on both models. An 8 megapixel shooter stays at the front.

Revealed by Evan Blass, the S8 would be launched in New York on March 29th, 2017. Expected sales to commence on April 21 and retail price €799 and €899 for the 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch models respectively.
