Pretty much how the Mercedes-Benz R-Class has evolved with less popularity among auto fans, not even Mercedes-Benz fans themselves. The design has maintained its status over the years, however, a Russian Automobile artist Aksyonov Nikita has something different to offer for the R-Family.

These image renderings pick up signature designs and inspiration from the 2019 Mercedes-Benz CLS - notice the headlamps and the taillights.
The R-Class wasn't so very widely popular probably due to the market demands at the time. Sedans were majorly selling pretty faster than hatchbacks and crossovers. However, today, the reverse is the case. The most notable of the R-Class lineup are the older generation 503-horsepower 6.2-litre V8-powered R63 and the V6-engine R350 which offered about 305-horsepower.
We can't wait to see this design implemented in reality. The R-Class overhaul is long overdue.
