14 years after, the Cadillac sixteen concept remains a dream

The Cadillac Sixteen is a concept car which was first built and unveiled by Cadillac of General Motors way back in 2003, but long after the launch of the concept, there's been little or no public knowledge of it, making one think the company might have abandoned the idea.

Accordingly, the vehicle is a  32-valve V16 model and features a 13.6-litre engine. A 4-door luxury sedan with a rear-wheel drive.

One could think that the newly unveiled Mercedes-Maybach Vision Cabriolet concept drew some design inspiration from this Cadillac concept, especially with the flipside hood which can be opened from one side all the way up.

The interior is very minimalist with very lovely aesthetic feel and quality upholstery. The trunk is spacious enough to fill luggages. Overall, it is a good concept but seems to be a dream taking too long to be realized.
