How to buy airtime and transfer money from your bank account with USSD code

Please note that you must only dial the codes below from your registered phone number with your bank. For example, you can only use the GTBank code on the mobile number you used to open your GTBank Account. The code won't work on any other line not registered with the specified bank.


Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB)
To make any transaction with your GT Bank account, simply dial *737# and select the appropriate service you would like to use.
For a quicker method,

Airtime (THIRD PARTY), dial *737*amount*PHONE NO#

Transfer to GTBank Account, *737*1*AMOUNT*GTBank Account No#

Balance Enquiry/Account Balance, *737*6#

Note that for every balance you check, 10 naira would be deducted. So if you check your account balance 10 times in a day, 100 naira would be deducted from your account.

You'd be required to enter the last four digits of your GTBank Naira MasterCard or your 4-digit security code to authenticate each transaction.

First City Monument Bank (FCMB)
You first need to setup your USSD transaction platform.

Unity Bank

United Bank for Africa (UBA)
Simply dial *919# from your registered phone number to get started.


Skye Bank

Sterling Bank
*822# and follow the prompts accordingly.
Note that N5 will be deducted from your airtime balance everytime you dial the sterling bank ussd code on your phone.
A PIN will also be required to complete transactions via the ussd code. You will get the pin when you register for the Sterling bank *822# service.
