Popular taxi company Uber has reportedly brokered a deal with Mercedes parent company Daimler to facilitate its taxi-hailing services.
Last year, Uber partnered with Volvo to use their semi-autonomous XC90 SUV and now it's going full speed with Mercedes-Benz and plans on including their self-driving vehicles into its fleet of vehicles, thus expanding their transport arsenal.

“Auto manufacturers like Daimler are crucial to our strategy because Uber has no experience making cars — and in fact, making cars is really hard,” Uber CEO Travis Kalanick said in a statement.
